Stock View Rewind finds the historically similar windows to any stock's current chart pattern, shows the distribution of what happened next, and reports each forecast's real walk‑forward accuracy. Analytics software — not investment advice.
Each panel answers a different question — none of them are "what should I buy." That's deliberate.
Finds the closest historical windows to a stock's recent chart pattern using z‑normalized trailing returns, then shows the distribution of what happened over each horizon.
Walk‑forward logistic model on HAR features. Reports the probability of high vs calm volatility — alongside its real accuracy and the two naive baselines it must beat.
Cross‑sectional percentile against your loaded universe on momentum, trend, low‑volatility, RSI, and 52‑week‑high proximity. Click any factor for the leaderboard.
Every "stock prediction" app you've ever seen has the same gap: no real out‑of‑sample accuracy, no baselines, no honesty about where signal ends and noise begins. Stock View is built the other way.
Same Rewind, volatility, and ranking — tuned to each device.
Same product across platforms — billing flows are different because Apple's IAP and our desktop licensing work differently.
Subscriptions on iPhone/Android are billed by Apple or Google through your account on their store, not on this site.
Rewind z‑normalizes a stock's trailing returns over a horizon‑scaled lookback window, then computes Euclidean distance against every comparable window in 5 years of historical data. The closest matches become "analogs." For each analog we record what happened over the next 5/10/22 days, then show you the resulting distribution — its mean, its 25–75% range, the up‑rate, and how that compares to the stock's overall base rate. The honest read is the spread, not the average.
No. Stock View is desktop analytics and visualization software for educational and informational purposes only. We are not a registered investment advisor. The app explicitly does not provide buy/sell recommendations. Past performance never guarantees future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
Most stock‑prediction apps don't show out‑of‑sample accuracy, never compare against naive baselines, and don't tell you when a forecast lacks edge. Stock View does all three — every forecast is walk‑forward validated, baselines are visible alongside the model, and any panel without real edge says so explicitly.
Stock View focuses on US large‑cap equities (S&P 500). All technical analysis, screeners, ranking, and Rewind patterns operate on US‑listed stocks. International coverage may follow based on demand.
Every plan — Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime — activates on 1 computer. If you replace or move machines, free the seat first from inside the app via License → "Deactivate this device," then activate on the new one. There's no limit on how many times you can move the same license between your own computers, only on how many are active at once.
Yes. The iOS subscription is managed by Apple — cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. The desktop subscription is managed through your purchase receipt or by emailing support@stockviews.online. In both cases your license remains active until the end of the period you paid for.
For desktop purchases: within 14 days of purchase, email support@stockviews.online and we'll process a refund and revoke the license. iOS refunds are handled through Apple per their App Store policies.
No. Stock View never connects to a brokerage account, never places trades, and never holds funds. It's a read‑only analytics tool that fetches public market data and runs computations locally.
